C#, Visual Studio 2008, Edit and Continue Saved Me!

I’m working on a data fix @ work and I’m maxing out my local capabilities of resources using Linq to SQL; the process is taking hours.

This is a fix so the performance tradeoffs are balanced with it won’t be run in the future.

Turns after 4 or 5 hours of processing I get “Exception of type ‘System.OutOfMemoryException’ was thrown.” in one of my base classes.  I was able to update the code on the fly and my app kept on executing.  Big time saver edit and continue, sometimes at least.
